Pray for The Boathouse Putney

Pray for The Boathouse Church, Putney

6 February 2023

The Boathouse Church, Putney is led by David Lee…

Please join us in thanking God for:

• Darren, our ministry trainee, who started working for us at the beginning of the year. Thank God for providing funding for Darren so that he could take up this role, for how he’s helping Darren adjust to the different patterns of work in ministry/training, and for the heart he’s given Darren to connect with all different people in Putney.
• A lot of newcomers and visitors over January who are looking for a local church. Thank God too that our Junior Jivers toddler group is making good connections in our local community.
• God’s work in the lives the two members of our church family who are being baptised on 19 February. Thank God for bringing them from death to life, and for the assurance that he who has begun a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Please join us in praying for:

• Our weekend away at the beginning of March to be an invaluable time relationally for us as a church family, and that we’d be spurred on to live for Jesus from our time in Matthew 25 and by each other.
• Our Sunday teaching this term from Titus to help us be a church family in which the truth leads to godliness. Pray, too, for our home groups as they think about how we care for one another: that we would help one another live out the implications of the gospel for God’s glory and our good.
• Our growing number of children and young people. Pray that we as a church would partner well with parents that they might grow up knowing and trusting Jesus. Pray too that God would provide the resources we need to run the children’s and youth work he wants us to do.
