The Planting Collective is a day conference where church-planters working in a variety of contexts and networks with reformed evangelical convictions from across the UK can learn from the scriptures, share best practice and encourage one another.
The Planting Collective is a biennial gathering for those actively engaged in planting or planning a plant. We’re called the Planting Collective because it is specifically intended to encourage church planting. It is called the Planting Collective because this is a truly collaborative effort at working together to reach the lost for the glory of God.
Our launch event took place in 2015 and the second event ‘Reformed & Revived’ took place on 13 June 2017 with talks from Steve Timmis (Acts 29) and Andrew Heard (Geneva Push) and seminar streams offering a variety of speakers with years of experience of planting and growing churches in a range of British contexts with time for genuine learning and encouragement.
This year’s conference was called “Reformed & Revived” because we are convinced that our nation needs new churches reformed by God’s Word and revived by His Spirit to proclaim the saving news of Christ.
